Transforming AI
I am currently leading the art direction and ideating process for "Transforming AI," an ongoing project by Innovators for Purpose. This project delves into the rise of Artificial Intelligence technology and the various harms emerging from its development. The centerpiece of "Transforming AI" will be a large-scale immersive art installation, designed to showcase a personal Innovators for Purpose student's experience with racial bias in AI. In addition to guiding the creative vision and conceptual development, I have also created the logo for this impactful project, and led a generative AI focused workshop at our large summit, hosted at the Volpe Center in May 2024.
Through extensive research, we have equipped ourselves with in-depth knowledge of AI's potential, the pros and cons, and its impact on society.

Creating a More Equitable Landscape in AI
I organized and conducted a workshop at our AI summit, attended by over 150 participants. This workshop was designed to empower young people to use generative AI in their work while also comprehending the consequences of bias within AI systems. The workshop provided hands-on experience and fostered discussions on how we can effectively provide solutions to ethical concerns surround AI.
Educational Outreach and Mentorship on Gen AI
I educate my team of innovative students on how to effectively use generative AI as a tool, ensuring they understand both its capabilities and the importance of ethical considerations in its application.
I used Midjourney to generate many images, tweaking the prompt as needed until I got something I felt represented my idea. I then took the image to Procreate, where I added eyes and tweaked the features of the girl to better fit my style.
